  • Q   Where can we fill up with fresh drinking water?
    A  
    On the riverfront in the town centre in Berridge park, there is a drinking water tap between the amenities and the childrens playground.
     
  • Q   Is there free camping in Denmark?
    A
       No. We have a number of very good caravan/camping parks in and around Denmark. Visit the accommodation section of this website or phone 9848 2055 for booking information. Other sites include Parrys Beach located west of Denmark (fee charged), Cosy Corner and Shelleys Beach located east of Denmark within National Parks (fee charged).
     
  • Q   Can I book Parry's beach campground?
    A  
    No. If there is availability upon your arrival at the site you can stay for a maximumn of 3 weeks. A caretaker will collect a fee $7 for 2 people ($2 per additional person) daily. Facilities include solar powered showers, toilets, BBQ's. Dogs on leads are permitted.
     
  • Q   Is there a dump Point in Denmark?
    A  
    If you are staying at a Holiday Park/Caravan Park within Denmark you can use their dump point facilities. There are no free dump points in Denmark.

    A
       The name Denmark comes from the first explorer to this area, Sir Braidwood Wilson. Wilson named the River, Denmark after his good friend and practioner aboard his ship Dr Denmark, who was an Englishman.

    A   The town is situated 10kms from the coastline.

    Anne Harrison Park is a good dog excercise area. Lights Beach to the left hand side and Prawn rock channel before ocean beach is dog friendly.
