Denmark Wineries

The Denmark Wine Region has gained a reputation for the quality and distinct regional characteristics that distinguish its premium wines. These can be sampled and purchased at the cellar doors of the local wineries, all set among the natural beauty of their rural settings. All the wineries are also great places to enjoy a family picnic.

Bartholomews Meadery Mead was once the nectar of gods and goddesses. Now honey wine and honey liqueur are again available to mortals with discerning taste.
Dingo Flat Dingo Flat produces small quantities of premium Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Verdelho.  These wines are rain-fed and grown in rich karri and red tingle loam.  Visit the winery between 1-4pm on weekends, public and school holidays October to March, or phone 9840 8262 for an appointment.

Ducketts Mill Wines Produces a range of award-winning wines, including Late Harvest Riesling, Merlot, Three Cabernets - and don't forget the Port, Muscat, Marsala and popular Citrus Nip!
Dunelm Wines This small family owned vineyard aims to produce the best of local varieties.  All wines are available from the Cellar Door or at the Great Southern Regional Wine Centre.

Forest Hill Vineyard Has a national reputation for exceptional fruit quality and award-winning wines.  Visit the new winery and for a tasting and enjoy a delightful meal at the Greenpool Restaurant.
Harewood Estate Harewood was awarded Champion Winery of Show at the 2005 Small Winemakers Show and Most Successful Small Producer at the 2005 Perth Royal Show.
Howard Park and Madfish Wines The winery occupies a historic 100 acre property just north of town on.  Howard Park and Madfish wines have achieved national and international success so come for the wine and stay for a picnic lunch in the garden and bush surrounds.
Karriview Wines This small vineyard was the first in the region to produce Chardonnay and Pinot Noir . Production is limited, with the emphasis on premium wines of high quality.
Latitude 35 South Latitude 35 South was established high upon Mt Shadforth in 1998 and produces premium estate grown wines.
Mariners Rest The Cocking family welcomes you to their farm that produces unique local wines and seasonal produce.  You can bring your own picnic lunch and relax on the quarterdeck with a glass of our wine.

Matilda's Estate Winery The Matilda's Estate Sauvignon Blanc was judged "BEST of the BEST" in Australia by James Halliday and the Cabernet Merlots, Pinot Noirs, Shiraz and sparkling wines are equally good.
Monkey Rock Winery Monkey Rock Winery overlooks Mt Hallowell and the southern ocean west of Denmark.  It has an emphasis is on producing preservative-free grape and fruit wines.
Moombaki Wines With a focus on producing the best possible wines; here the emphasis is on fruit quality, careful hand picking and outstanding winemaking skills.  The cellar overlooks the vineyards, wetlands and the Kent River and displays contemporary art and wood craft.
Mount Hallowell Estate Just 6 kilometres from Denmark with sheltered north-facing slopes and abundant fresh stream water, this winery produces Cabernet Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling and Cabernet Shiraz. 
Old Kent River Wines Here the focus is ultra-premium wines vintaged in the Denmark and Frankland River regions.  The five star Slow Food - Long Lunch Café offers marron and our own home-grown lamb. 
Rickety Gate Wines Rickety Gate has a reputation for producing stylish, elegant wines, including Merlot, Premium Red, Shiraz, Riesling, Chardonnay, Late Harvest Riesling and Muscat.
Silverstream Set among organic gardens and trees, this winery is an ideal place for a picnic in the grounds or a relaxing time on the cottage verandah sampling the produce.
Somerset Hill Wines Somerset Hill is the highest vineyard in Denmark and is a magnificent setting. Here you can enjoy sparkling wine, farm grown mushrooms and a range of Belgian chocolates.
The Lake House Denmark Lies in a secluded valley, surrounded by karri forests, overlooking an idyllic lakeside vineyard.  The cellar door offers premium wines and vineyard platters, gifts and great coffee.
Tinglewood Wines At Denmark's oldest vineyard you can try wine by the glass and test your skills in the "PUZZLE SHOP" near the wine tasting area.
West Cape Howe Wines You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the verandah or lawns with views to Mt Lindesay. The summer season also brings regular concerts and music sessions.
Whitfield Estate While sampling the range of wines, enjoy the stunning natural bush and rural scenery.  You’ll also get to meet and befriend Mac and Bud; the friendly Bernese Mountain Dogs. 
Yilgarnia Wines & Wildflowers Yilgarnia is the original name of our geologically ancient region, home to the greatest array of endemic wildflowers in the world, and some pretty good wines!
