A CELEBRATION OF TRADITION, CULTURE, FAMILY

The Great Southern’s annual showcase of its fabulous food, produce and wines will be held from the 25th February to the 7th March 2010.

The 2010 Taste Great Southern Festival is bigger and better than previous years – ten exciting days of produce tasting, markets, wine tastings, master classes, long table lunches, picnics, film festivals, and music events.

With events such as long table lunches, cooking master classes with renowned chefs, regional and themed gastronomic dinners and family-oriented events and picnics, the Festival will once again delight those who appreciate good quality food and the traditions associated with food preparation. This year's celebrity chefs are Vincenzo Velletri, Jean Daniel Ichallalene, and Vince Garreffa. Special guest, Verity James, will be in attendance at a number of events.

In addition to the spectacular Taste Denmark, this year’s event features two long-term favourites - the Porongurup Wine and Food Festival and the Mt Barker Graze – and a new addition – the inaugural Go Taste Albany Festival.
