Denmark Wildflowers

Wildflowers bloom in Denmark in mid winter through to mid to late summer in the cooler south coast climate. The best places to see wildflowers in Denmark are walking trails or the National Parks.

Enjoy driving or walking through temperate forests and discover the hidden wonders of the forest floor. These amazing ecosystems support a large variety of native animals and delicate wildflowers. In season, the forest is ablaze with orchids, purple native wisteria and green kangaroo paw.

Red Flowering Gum, Corymbia ficifolia, is one of the most widely planted ornamental native trees, yet its natural range only occurs in the Walpole Nornalup National Park of Australia’s South West. Shades range from pink, orange red to deep red.
