Experience Spring in Denmark
Denmark is home to some of the region’s most incredible wildflowers and Spring time (September to November) is the perfect time to see them in bloom. Each year the area explodes into a riot of colour. With mild days and plenty of sunshine, Spring is walking season and travellers from around the world visit Denmark to walk the Bibbulmun Track and cycle the Munda Biddi Trail.
- Walking with Wildflowers: Take a walk on the Bibbulmun Track and get up close to the region's amazing wildflowers. Denmark is located in Australia's only recognised biodiversity hotspot - that means there are an incredibly diverse array of endemic species on show.
- Wave at a Whale: Whale-watching season normally ends in mid-October, but there are still plenty of sightings throughout the spring time.
- Visit the region's national parks: After the winter rains, everything is looking its best - bright green shoots, colourful wildflowers, and nesting birds. Spring is the perfect time to get outdoors and explore the wilderness.
- Cycle the Munda Biddi Trail: Spring's mild weather is ideally suited to cycling. Bring your bike, or hire one from the Denmark Visitor Centre, and explore Denmark from two wheels.
