Denmark Arts

Denmark Arts delivers a diverse annual program of arts activities that stimulate creativity, encourage innovation and promote employment opportunities for artists...

Creative and artistic expression is fundamental to the vitality and wellbeing of the Denmark community. Denmark’s vibrant cultural landscape owes much to the efforts of the Denmark Arts Council; one of only five peak regional arts organisations in Western Australia. Each year Denmark Arts delivers a diverse range of cultural experiences.

Denmark Arts Markets

The Denmark Arts Markets are held on the banks of the Denmark River in Berridge Park from 10am - 4pm. Market Dates are throughout December, January, March long-weekend and the Easter long weekend. Entry is by gold coin. First established in 1981 the Denmark Arts Markets have become a showcase for Denmark's craftspeople, entertainers and arts community. The markets attract a great array of stalls and provide free entertainment. The over 100 stalls are an essential part of the Market Day, with handcrafted and innovative designs encouraged. There are also fresh produce, hot food, coffee, teas, ice cream and information stalls. They provide an outlet for regional craft, art and performing arts in a village atmosphere.
